SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (July 23, 2012) – Petsense, a national pet care retail store, is expanding to historic Westerly, Rhode Island with the opening of their 61st location. The new store will feature the area’s largest assortment of food, toys, treats, and accessories for dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, birds, and aquatics. Petsense does not sell dogs or cats, instead choosing to partner with local animal welfare organizations and rescue groups to help find loving homes for animals in need.

Petsense will open to the public on August 8th, followed by a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on August 11th at 9:00 AM. Petsense associates are currently setting up the new location at 1602 South Broadway while continuing to operate the current location at 1707 South Broadway, which will remain open for business until the new site opens on July 31st.
